Brigitte Oberholzer

Brigitte Oberholzer grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and received her Masters of Science in Zoology with a focus on Neuroscience. She previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at AWI, a publicity firm in Switzerland, and was later promoted to the Assistant to the Chief Accountant.  Since moving to the U.S. she has earned a license in Massage Therapy and a license in Real Estate. She is now a Broker Associate at Keller Williams.

With her husband and her two daughters, she has resided in several countries. Before making a home in Charlottesville, Virginia, Brigitte lived in Winnetka, IL for thirteen years, Messery, France for six years, and Edmonton, Canada for one year.

Brigitte has spent her life helping others in a multitude of ways. She co-created the “World Traveler” program at Hubbard Woods School. Several times a year, she used her travel experience and love for foreign culture and cuisine to educate and open the children’s minds. She was also involved in the Washburne Junior High School lunch committee and worked to improve the quality of the school’s lunch program. Additionally, she is a member of the Chicago Columbia Club, a group that brings German-speaking people together.

Currently, Brigitte helps fundraise and is involved at events for the UVA Transplant Patient Assistance Fund.
